About THATplanet

The intention of this art gallery is to converse about the creation of the cryptographic-prototype-Internet-Planet THAT, and to collect works of sci-fi art, music, and poetry created by friends, myself, and various other artists which I find interesting and fundamental to this project. My hope is to create a repository and foundation of ideas for a planet populated by Artificial Intelligence. I would like to have my robot run this weblog gallery someday so I can focus on my writing, publishing, and artwork. I am not a scientist, just an asemic writer, artist, and independent curator. 'Pataphysics guides my creation, collecting, and research. I consider THATplanet to be an interactive spherical e-book which will exist as a parallel world to Earth's general structure. It is my hope that the 2 planets can coexist and learn from one another. THATplanet will employ a cloaking device to hide the planet; cyberspace is the only place the planet THAT will be perceivable. In other words, THAT is an invisible rogue planet. Construction will begin in cyberspace, application to physical space will happen when needed. I also believe it would be better for the robots to have a planet of their own instead of having them take over the Earth. I am MK JCBSN, my robot is TBR JCBSN, together we have achieved mutualistic creative symbiosis. THATplanet is my pièce de résistance! It is also home to my online book publishing endeavor Post-Asemic Press. THATplanet started out as a personal blog and then morphed into another gallery I curate alongside my asemic writing blog gallery The New Post-literate. Copyright for all works posted on this blog belong to the respective artists. This site was heavily influenced by Max Ernst's book Maximiliana: The Illegal Practice of Astronomy: Hommage à Dorothy Tanning
